TERMS OF DESIGN
HOURS OF OPERATION
My working hours may vary, with most design work taking place during weekdays and evenings. To maintain a healthy work/life balance, I typically refrain from working on weekends and holidays.
PAYMENT
For Custom Designs, a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to secure a spot in my design queue.
Once I’m prepared to begin work on your design, you’ll receive an invoice for the remaining balance, which must be settled in full before the design process can begin.
Rush + orders, due to their quick turnaround, necessitate full payment upfront.
REVISIONS + PROOFS
Upon receiving the initial mock-up, I’ll accommodate up to three reasonable revisions during the design process. Additional revisions beyond the three may incur extra charges.
After your design is installed, any requested changes that aren’t a result of my error may be subject to a fee (starting at $25).
IMAGES + PERMISSIONS
dotwork.solutions assumes no responsibility for any photos or design elements provided by clients. Please ensure you have proper permissions for any elements or photography submitted for your design.
If you wish to use an image from a stock image site, please purchase the file and provide it to me at the start of the design process.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All correspondence between you and dotwork.solutions is strictly confidential and must not be shared or forwarded to others without my explicit written consent.
During the design process, I’ll require access to your Blogger or WordPress login information. I will never share or sell your information under any circumstances. You might consider creating a temporary password until the design process is complete.
REFUNDS + CANCELLATIONS
Due to the nature of design work, refunds will not be issued under any circumstances, especially if the design process has begun. In the event you decide to terminate a project for any reason, you’ll receive a design credit equivalent to any paid invoices, valid for one calendar year.
COMMUNICATION
All communication takes place via email or Skype Chat Message, ensuring I have a record of your design preferences readily available. I’m always happy to address your questions via email. Please note that responses may occasionally be delayed due to the volume of inquiries and emails I receive daily.
TURNAROUND TIME
Upon placing an order, you will be assigned a slot in my design queue for a specific month. This determines when your design will begin, not necessarily when it will be completed. Once you approve your initial inspiration board, we will discuss timeline goals to maintain project progress. Please be aware that I work as swiftly as possible, but the design process can be fluid, with possible delays, particularly if multiple revisions are required. Remember, creating a unique, well-thought-out design takes time. Some projects may conclude within weeks, while others may extend over several months. Your patience throughout the creative process is highly valued.
SIDEBAR + PAGE CONTENT
My role is to design the primary template of your blog or website. You are responsible for adding the actual page content, images, and sidebar elements unless we have agreed otherwise. If you wish for me to design graphics for your page content, please reach out for a quote.
DESIGN CREDIT, UPDATES + FILES
A link to dotwork.solutions will be included at the bottom of your site to credit me as the template designer. This logo/link must remain as long as any elements designed by me are in use.
Once your design is installed, your files will be deleted unless you opt to have them stored ($15 fee), making them available for future tweaks and updates.
For $25, you can purchase a flattened .png of your web logo for unrestricted use without requiring design credit.

All designs are protected by copyright and are the property of dotwork.solutions. This includes site coding.
